You’re going to get sleeeepy… Valerian is the ultimate calming and sedating herb. It soothes the nerves and helps you slip into a restful sleep. It is also an effective pain reliever when pain is caused by anxiety and tension. Losing sleep is a thing of the past with valerian.
Each ml contains 200 mg of valerian root (Valeriana officinalis) in a non-medicinal base of grain alcohol and purified water.
Valerian helps to promote sleep and relieve nervousness
Take valerian at bedtime on an empty stomach, which means at least 1 hour after your last meal.
Adults 18 and over: take 4 ml, 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
For best absorption, squirt the tincture under your tongue and hold it there for a few seconds, then swallow. If you want to remove the alcohol, add the dosage to a half cup of boiled water. The alcohol will evaporate off. Let it cool, and add honey or a splash of juice to make a yummy, sleep-inducing drink!
