PRODUCT INFORMATIONArnica Montana – also known as wolf's bane, leopard's bane and mountain tobacco- is a pretty little perennial plant that boasts bright yellow daisy like flowers and has had a reputation for being a healing herbal for centuries. It is native to Europe but there are also other arnica species found growing in western areas of North America with a similar reputation. For medicinal purposes the dried flower heads are usually utilized but the underground stems and roots can prove useful as well.
How can Arnica help you? Its uses include:
Relief of Muscle Strains and Sprains – Muscle strain pain although not serious in most cases can be excruciatingly painful. Some people find that the application of an arnica cream to the affected areas can bring temporary pain relief.
Arthritic Pain – Some have also found Arnica to be useful to treat inflamed and painful arthritic joints, when applied to the area using a warm moist compress.
